Our Story

From yesterday to tomorrow constantly evolving

Like all memorable stories, Scatolificio Ceriana's was born out of a fortunate coincidence of events: a lottery win, combined with the meeting of two enterpreneurs, kicked off a story of entrepreneurship and innovation that has lasted for more than sixty years.

From a small piece of machinery to produce boxes to a solid and constantly expanding company. Scatolificio Ceriana is an independent and completely Italian company that has always been owned by the Barichello family.

Our lucky numbers

These are the milestones that mark our history and imprint on our future actions, aimed at innovating with a focus on performance and on offering increasingly advanced and environmentally sustainable solutions.

1957

San Martino Buon Albergo. Adriano Ceriana, an employee at a furniture factory, scores a 13 on the Football Pool and decides to invest the winnings in a new venture, buying a box-making machine from his employer.

1977

Gian Antonio Barichello joins Ceriana as a partner, bringing with him an innate drive for innovation.

1979

The purchase of a Case-Maker machine marks the beginning of the expansion phase: the production rates and work increase.

1987

Adriano Ceriana retires from the business while Gian Antonio Barichello is joined by his wife Anna as sales manager. Scatolificio Ceriana integrates a small competitor and continues to grow its business.

1990

The second generation enters the company: two of Gian Antonio and Anna's five sons, Giovanni and Marco, join the general management and the production and design department, respectively.

1994

The company moves to its current location in Settimo di Pescantina.

2020

Giovanni and Marco initiate the process of modernizing the company, setting up a managerial reorganization focused on commercial, strategic and communication aspects.
